National News: In a heartbreaking incident near Ballabhgarh railway station, a young man named Manoj, along with his four children—Pawan, Karu, Murali, and Chhotu—died after jumping in front of the Golden Temple train traveling from Amritsar to Delhi. The tragedy occurred under a flyover approximately one and a half kilometers from the station, sending shockwaves through the local community. Manoj, a resident of Ajji Colony in Faridabad, had left his home around 1 p.m., telling his wife, Preeti, that he was taking the children for a walk in the park. However, instead of heading to the park, he led his children to the railway tracks, where the devastating incident took place.
Manoj was originally from Barraya village in Lakhisarai district, Bihar, and had relocated to Ajji Colony just a week before the incident. According to Preeti, there were no apparent domestic disputes or issues that could explain Manoj’s actions. She described him as a loving father who had recently returned from his village. The suddenness of the tragedy has left Preeti and the community in a state of disbelief, as no one anticipated such a drastic step from Manoj.
The police are investigating the case to determine the reason behind Manoj’s decision to end his life and that of his four children. Authorities have not yet identified any specific motive, and the incident has raised questions about mental health and underlying stressors that may have contributed to this extreme act. The local police have cordoned off the area and are collecting evidence to piece together the circumstances leading to the tragedy.
The incident has caused widespread panic and grief in Ballabhgarh, with residents struggling to come to terms with the loss of five lives, including four young children. The community is rallying to support Preeti, who is devastated by the loss of her entire family. This tragic event underscores the need for greater awareness and support for mental health issues in society.
